94 celcius aims to share the history of every region that is producing coffee, but above all to discover passionate people who grow this much-loved fruit. Without these stubborn producers who want to promote their coffee culture, 94 celcius would not exist. Tasting 94 celcius’ coffees is like an invitation for a great adventure around the globe to discover the complexity of coffee, but above all the incredible community that comes close to it.

What’s 94 celcius' story?

It all started when Marc-Alexandre Emond-Boisjoly returned from a trip in France while he was studying cell biology. He was far from imagining that in his tiny Parisian apartment, where the bathroom and the kitchen were common rooms, he would discover coffee.

 

Coffee accompanied him day and night, quietly discovering its diversity but above all the pleasure of tasting innumerable varieties whether it was in the morning, during long study nights or simply the day after a night of partying.

 

However, it was thanks to an iconic lever espresso machine that Marc was able to appreciate all the splendor of coffee. He fell in love with the richness of the aromas and the diversity of the coffee of each region. At that point, his great journey of finding the best coffee began.

What’s your "It factor"? The founder of 94 celcius is a scientist in biochemistry and pharmacology who wrote in some scientific journals.

…roaster? Since Marc discovered specialty coffee through the Brûlerie Belleville in Paris, so that’s his top; however, “we are very proud of the Montreal community. 90% of the coffee we drink at home comes from a Montreal roaster. "
