This coffee has a particularly interesting backstory. Grown at the Plantex farm in the foothills of the Poas Volcano in Costa Rica’s Central Valley, Diego Berrocal and his son, Diego Jr., are known first and foremost for their green foliage production. As lead suppliers of green foliage to Europe, the Berrocals hold unparalleled expertise in advanced farming and fertilizing techniques, skills which are clearly displayed in the coffee they produce. For over 4 generations the Berrocals have grown coffee, perfecting their wetmilling process over time.
