DESCRIPTION:
Rosalba Cifuentes coffee comes from the beautiful Chiapas region of Mexico. Following several abuses and a difficult start to life, she decides to change the course of things and leaves her native country for the United States. There, she met her husband Dennis and founded a coffee export company.
When she returned to her home region, she faced the difficulties faced by several members of her family working in coffee production. From the desire to encourage the empowerment of local coffee growers, the Mayan Coffee Harvest was born. By providing better traceability and more transparency, Rosalba believes it can increase the value of grains from Chiapas.
This selected lot comes from widowed and single-parent producers in the region. They have combined their efforts to offer us an incredibly sweet coffee with a nice acidity, the end product of which is of remarkable quality.
